Four months today

We were woken up by these two, out the side doors this morning!

Today is the day, four months ago that Derwent6 went in the water, yes! .....and to us it feels like four months ago...If we were living in a house it would have flown by, but we have really enjoyed our time on Derwent6.

Beautiful day today, so Al took all her old books down to the shop at the Folly and exchanged them for some other nearly new ones. We then posted some letters, and got back to Derwent6 and pulled the pins.
We made our way to Braunston, which took us about two and half hours. With the sun shining and the warm temperatures it was our first no shoes day. When we passed Napton marina we saw this unusual widebeam boat, we thought it looked like a tank.We then turned at Braunston marina and filled with water, that took another hour. Al picked up some beer from the shop and we then made our way back with some evening cruising, to bridge 103 and found a nice spot to chill out for the rest of the day.

We found ourselves here all on our own, but we bet it won't be like this tomorrow........

We can't believe it's already been 4 months - but you're right, time in the rat-race has just flown by! How envious we are!!

Looking forward to catching up with you at the end of the month. We'll call a couple of days beforehand to get a proper bearing on you.

Enjoy your weekend observing all the weekender's!
