Cheering ourselves up

Typical!!! Sunday and raining hard.. We had a bit of a lay in as the rain hit the roof and did some reading.

It was so miserable that we decided to go up The Junction pub and have a Sunday lunch to cheer ourselves up a bit. They were putting on a carvery for £6.95 and it meant Al didn't have to cook, so we trotted up in the pouring rain. We had a lovely meal filling your plate with as much as you can eat, but it did have it's problems. We crashed out when we got back!

In the evening Al made some rock cakes for tea, and we watched telly and a film.
