We left Bray early and made our way down through the locks to Windsor. We just had to follow the bollards where you couldn't moor because of Eton Dorney Olympic rowing course. The plan was to get moored by 10.00am and we managed to find a mooring on the leisure centre moorings. It said that the charges were eight pounds and you had to pay the mooring warden on request or go to the centre and pay, well a little birdy told us not to bother, so we didn't.....
We walked up into town and just about made the changing of the guards for Thomas. We then went and had a coffee and managed to see them come out afterwards. After a walk round town it was back to Derwent6 for lunch and a chill out in the afternoon. In the evening we treated Thomas to Nando's because he had never been. We had a lovely meal and then for dessert we walked down to the river and had an ice cream with the swans. In the evening we watched all the disco boats going by and the planes taking off with our candles lit in the cratch. We were in bed by 10.00pm totally shattered.
