A Moving Experience

It was raining when we surfaced but the sun was soon trying to poke through. So Del was out straight away doing the brasses and Al read her book in the cratch. In the afternoon Del went for a walk and bumped into the Memorial grounds for the military and our services, The National Memorial Arboretum. The grounds were huge and it was quite a moving experience seeing the amount of names on walls and plates who had fought and supported our country. You could have spent all day here. It was all supported by the famous Poppy...

Del got back at around 3.00pm and we got a call from Alan & Carol who said they would find us and pop in for a coffee. Well they left at 9.00pm and we didn't realise till late that we hadn't run the engine. We managed to sneak a hour in before the cut off time of 8.00pm. We had a lovely evening just chatting away.. We watched the end of the football, before going to bed.
