It was a lovely sunny day, just like it was 29 years ago... We decided we would walk up to the local pub and have a morning breakfast which was on offer for £3.25 and for a extra pound we could have unlimited coffee. We reminisced over the day 29 years ago and how we would have been getting ready for the ceremony at midday. Where has it all gone....it has been twenty nine very happy ones..... and we are doing what we want to do......very lucky!!! While we were in the pub we updated the PCs with their WI-Fi and then walked (very slowly) back to Derwent6 after posting a few letters. We had a new crew member turning up at 2.00pm. David had come up from Kent to see us for a few days and it would be a great help for Del with his back problems. Doug and James off n.b Chance had walked along to see us and we chatted for a while also saying our goodbyes to Lynne and Paul. We set off and turned again at Hillmorton and made our way up to Brownsover where we moored for the night. We then walked to the local Harvester where we had a nice Anniversary meal with David. After walking Al back to Derwent6, David and Del walked to the local cinema to watch a horror film which David likes and Del doesn't get the chance to see very often. By this time though, Del's back was giving up the ghost as he struggled to walk back to Derwent6. After some telly we all went to bed after a lovely day....
