Dizzy and Giddy

Al woke up in the morning and tried to go to the loo and felt giddy and nearly fell over. She sat on the toilet gripping the sink and was then sick after drinking some water.. She had to go back to bed and that's where she stayed.. With the help of some tablets (sickness and pain) she was able to sleep a little.
With it being a balance problem we felt sure it was her ears. She couldn't stop the room spinning whenever her head lifted off the pillow.
So it was a day laying down and resting while Del tried to suss out the problem..
Al's sister Jo had had the same problem a few years ago and it seemed like it must be Labyrinthitis. This can last up to six weeks, but Al doesn't appear to have any ear pain so it could just be a 72 hour thing.
So tomorrow we will be moving to the nearest doctor's and chemist..

Hope youre feeling better Al, had the same thing on the boat when we were on the Shroppie years ago couldn't lift my head off the pillow for days and the room just kept spinning was even worse when the boat rocked. Was sick a lot as well like you took a few days to get back upright but weeks until the dizziness completely went, Hope you get better soon xx

Its awful isn't it!! Feel so debilitated. Just keep needing to lay down. The last couple of days have been a real improvement, but then I got up this morning and felt awful & was sick again! Back to the doctors tomorrow for some more tablets. Fed up with it now!!! xxx
