After another day of relaxing, with a bit more bike riding and reading, and of course pubbing, we decided to set off today.![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghob5QTcfmvKTZyRhaRK9-5csThgLui8LbY7CDBlfTi8tonThpkdM3J46PIS_S__WeozgTlSENCcKFzthXlM9rx-jiKtpnPYHWoDieSGt6Ehd_jjRFsOhggth1O63rUDxcCMVX/s320/P1090630.JPG)
First we turned and then got some help through the first lock . It was just so pleasant cruising with clear blue skies with a lovely breeze in our faces. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhUhgncf3r_vbTJZK-UgqstSXKvBcCT2XXWZYeFbmegY9tOiRmbLNFgQ0G7WU6WzeZ255bfg8RkyIw4XPqV3eIoxHQDGne86iuoibGUJV-VIAInxTaFra0XrI0pSwZgcilDrw97/s320/P1090632.JPG)
We think this is our favourite section of the Wey Navigation. We then stopped for water at Stoke lock, where Al got upset seeing a dead cat in the water. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTil4-q2TQYAUAiObxc7qrDn5_uvf88cIwLsVENhqF_V5FgXa4P225f0hat6MDO_xm0SSYP9L52O5x7ZTpuVrcJ-mMrEvS0eCbKfyWkuuAJJmhfU_BgAS0P7qQIUUq9zy2Dozn/s320/P1090636.JPG)
We then pushed on through Guildford again, turned and found a nice mooring on the meadows.
In the evening we lit the BBQ and watched the hot air balloons going overhead.
