We were up early as Del had decided to get milk and bread from the village shop a couple of miles away. It had been raining overnight and the bridle path had got very muddy. He left at 9.30am and got back at 11.00am wet and covered in mud. The good news was we had more food on board. We watched the tennis in the afternoon with some heavy showers, and watched the boats racing past us, this one with smoke belting out the exhaust,
We then later made the decision to move. We made our way down Northbrook lock and then black clouds were looming again so we looked for another place to moor.
Just as the heavens opened again we pinned in. We got another nice spot with the canal on one side of us and the river on the other.
It got very stormy later on and we listened to the rain with dinner.
