The Steam and Vintage Rally
It was a lovely morning when we took out the bung's this morning. We had buttered crumpets before we headed off to the Steam and Vintage Rally at Marsworth. When we arrived we were amazed at how many steam engines were there. They had loads of old tractors, American and British cars, and commercial and military vehicles. They also had a old 1955 Green Goddess fire engine with a Francis search lamp on the roof, just the same as Derwent6 has on the bow. We had a good look around and then found a nice spot in the sunshine with our Fish & Chips and watched the parade go by. We picked up a little memento for Derwent6 and then made our way back to the Wendover Arm.
