It was a lovely morning but Wow was it cold.. The sun was pouring in through the port holes and the ice was about a centimetre thick. Al walked up to the shops while Del sorted out the fire and cleaned up the cratch. The frost gets on the cratch cover and opens up the fabric and when it starts to thaw it drips a bit. (and we didn't want that on our new cushions). While Al was up the shops she booked in to the hairdressers there. They had a new girl starting and to gain new customers she was cutting and blow drying hair for ten pounds. She managed to get an appointment at 2.00pm. We read the papers and pottered on Derwent6 till Al had to have her hair done. Del weathered the cold and did the brasses while she was away, as we had clear blue skies. When she got back we watched telly for a couple of hours before playing music in the evening...
