We then had a bit of a clean up and the porthole liners were cleaned again. We also sorted out the paperwork.
We chilled out in the evening with our music drowning out the howling winds....
It was great to see one of the nearby schools had all turned out for him all in their blue school uniforms. He then got back in the water and swam past Derwent6 with the sounds of Queen's "We will Rock You" and "We are the Champions" blasting out and echoing down the Thames.
We said our goodbyes and then walked back to Derwent6 in the dark (your eyes soon get used to it!), falling into bed at 1.00am.
After we had finished at the pavilion we walked over to The Swan pub to toast one last time for Len, and as we did so, we just watched the most amazing sunset; another fabulous memory.
We then got the flowers back to the bungalow and we had a small shower from the sky to water them, and a rainbow appeared.
Thanks Dad for a Fantastic Day which everyone enjoyed, it was sad but happy at the same time.
