With the day half gone we could only watch the rain out the potholes and do a few small jobs in and around Derwent6. Del played his guitar most of the day while Al started the Christmas lists, as we snuggled up round the fire. We did have a small spell where the rain stopped, so Del chopped up more wood and put some more on the roof. In the evening we (you won't believe this) had an early night!!!!

That fire looks so inviting, no wonder you are happy staying below decks!
I do not blame you for staying in bed. Whilst you were snoozing, we were moving from Crick to Welford Junction. The weather was foul. Driving rain and gale force winds. By the time we got to Welford Junction, we were both soaked and I was cold. But that is the joys of extreme weather boating hahaha.
