We left at about 9.30am and said our goodbyes to Hilary and Andy on n.b. Maisibert.
We then managed to moor at Rugby so we could go to Tesco's. As we were just leaving a guy came up to us saying he had followed our blog from day one. It was Ray, the new owner of Dot and Derek's boat n.b. Gypsy Rover. It was good to meet up and he now has a new blog which we will be adding to our links. We then got to Tesco's where were just in time for their last breakfast, so we managed to get lots of extras. After getting back to Derwent6 we moved on a bit to get water. We had loads of washing to do so we needed a full tank. We then set off at about 1.00pm in bright sunshine and soon got through the Newbold tunnel and out into the countryside. We were going to moor after a couple of hours but couldn't get in where we wanted to, so we made our way up to Brinklow and got diesel on the way. At the next available mooring we pulled in. We sat in the cratch with the candles lit and had dinner, and then listened to music before going to bed.
