We left our mooring quite early as we wanted to get water and pump out, we also needed to turn. It was a nice start to the day with bright sunshine but clouds were coming in fast.
We made our way back through Braunston which seemed very quiet.
We soon got out into the countryside and could see some rain clouds looming in so decided to moor up for lunch. We had a big downpour and then the sun came out so we could sit back out in the cratch.
We then moved on to Hillmorton Locks which was a bit tricky in the wind again but we got through ok.
We moored just the other side of the locks as it started to get quite chilly. We put the heating on for a hour for the first time and it just took the chill off Derwent6. In the evening we listened to music and Del helped Tanya with the guitar. We finished the evening watching a live concert of All Time Low, a band Tanya loves.
