So its back to reality (and our reality isn't that bad). We have really suffered from Jet Lag and have been waking up at 1.00 or 2.00am, so we have been walking round like zombies for most of the day.. Well Derwent6 was a little worse for wear when we got back and a lot of work was needed. We would have sorted out the blog earlier but Tooty had other ideas after leaving him for so long.
We also found that the central heating pump had given up the ghost so we relied on the good old wood burner to heat up Derwent6.
Al put all the sheets in the tumble to warm them up and we soon took all the coldness out of the woodwork.
We filled up everything after it had been drained for winter storage and got ourselves ready to go.
It was so good to be going out of the marina and feel D6 on the cut once more.
We again realised how lucky we are to be doing what we are doing travelling these different worlds.
We didn't go far, we just wanted to be self sufficient again. Its so nice to be HOME!!
