Time to Cruise with a pub lunch in the middle.

We set off early from the marina at 7.30am and were surprised how busy it still was..

We took a steady cruise up to the swingbridge at Rose's narrowboats and here we met a CRT boat.

Things went from slow to very slow from then on as we followed him for about three miles.

Just past Ansty he pulled over to let us through and we made our way to Sutton stop lock at Hawksbury Junction.

We then took the turn on the Coventry and met up with John and Louise on n.b. Ploddin' along for lunch in the Greyhound, it was great to see them both..

We tested the shower beforehand, now we had hot water again, and got ready and met them at the lovely outside table they had booked.. It was a good set up in the pub. You downloaded an app and ordered your drinks and food on this, and you could hear it dinging on the bar when it came through, we could get used to this as they were delivered out to us..

Food was great and we stayed longer than we should of done but it was great fun..

We went back to the boats and set off towards Nuneaton.

It always has its obstacles to avoid but we got through with no problems..

It was then all clear to Harts Hill where we both moored up and soon had the chairs and beers out..

It started to get a bit nippy at around 8.00pm, so we retired to our boats for an early night..
