We have just had a fabulous time down in Kent looking after Murphy the dog and house sitting for Steve and Debbie Cribben who's daughter Leanne got married in Canada... We had the chance to catch up with all our friends and family. (See blogs below) It started by us seeing Pam and Alf and then Len and Terry. For everyone who knows them all, Pam is on the mend and Len is not so good and will have to go back into hospital . We then had Bernie and Sarah and Steve and Erica round for a BBQ, where we met up with some old neighbours. We then saw Zoe and Greg who came round one night and then we went to Alex's 10th birthday and met a few more friends there with Richard and Lisa. Al met up with some old workmates while Del watched the football with his mates. Del went to the Cinema with his mates a couple of times while the girls did the same. All this was in between taking the Dog for a walk twice a day and out on the bike. At the end of it all we had a wedding to go to. Congratulations Jayne and John Woodgate.....and a wonderful wedding it was too.
When we got back to the cut and Derwent6, she was covered in leaves but when you opened the cratch doors you got that lovely smell of oak.... It didn't feel damp at all and it really felt like home.... So as you can guess it was all the cleaning cloths out again and we got a full workout.
We added our new additions to the cratch....
With no food on board we popped down the pub for a bite to eat, before crashing out....
It's nice to be home!!!!!!!!!!
