On the House move

On Wednesday, we took the decision to turn around and ended up at Theale. We then got the train down to Birchington and was surprised how easy we got through London with the Olympics on. We met up with Terry (Del's Stepmum) as we were helping her to move back to Larkfield, still in Kent. We loaded the van with all the garden furniture with the help of Craig (Del's younger brother) and Callum (our nephew), all ready for the big move on Thursday. Thursday morning we were up early and met by Cliff (Del's other brother) who had hired a van for the day. We managed, with a bit of careful loading, to get it all in a small luton van. We then got the keys at 2.30pm and managed to get it all unloaded by the evening Olympics. On Friday and Saturday it was pictures up, plumbing in washing machine, and just getting sorted out. We got back to Derwent6 late on Saturday and chilled on Sunday. It all went very well and things are a bit more settled now in the Heasman camp.
