Tom picked up

We were expecting Thomas's Mum and Dad to turn up early this morning to pick him up. So we were up, washed and had breakfast before we got a phone call saying they were ten minutes away. They soon met up with us, and Thomas was wrapping his arms round them. It was lovely to see all the kids and they told us about their holiday in Devon and Thomas told them about his. We were even given some Devon sticks of rock with Auntie and Uncle down the middle of them, a nice touch.
Cliff and Lou stopped for a cup of tea and Cliff soon had the fishing rod out and caught nothing.
They left around midday and we walked back to the car with them to say our goodbyes, getting rid of our rubbish on the way. When we got back to Derwent6 we watched the Grand Prix which took us on to 3.00pm. It just felt too late to move now so we decided we would stay put for the day. Del went out on his bike while Al took a well earned chill on Derwent6. We are looking forward to relaxing over the next few days and taking in the Wey.
