As you all may have gathered we stayed put all weekend, soaking up the sun. On the Saturday we both went down to London where we split up. Del met up with his friend Bernie and went to the Colditz meeting again at the Imperial War museum, and then had a night in town, while Al took the opportunity to see her Mum and Dad and met up with friend Sarah in Sevenoaks for a coffee, before heading home late afternoon.
Del stayed with Bernie and Sarah overnight because the following day he went on a fourteen mile charity bike ride event at Bewl Water, which borders Kent & East Sussex, hence the reason for Del doing a bit of training last week. It finished with Del and Bernie doing a spot of gliding in the afternoon and evening, before Del travelled back to Derwent6. He got back to Al at around 9.00pm.....knackered.....
