Staying put for our wisdom

Del had a bad night and woke up a few time with tooth ache, it turned out to be a wisdom tooth coming through (a bit late in the day!) After a few pain killers it did subside but he is still in a lot of pain. The weather was a bit hazy today but still nice, so some more jobs were in order. Over night the tar had run down the walls again so we had to have a look at the chimney joints. When we rubbed things down with a wire brush we noticed a huge gap between the chimney stack and the collar. We had some sealer on board so we filled the gap in the warm weather so it could dry. We do feel that there must be so much tar now behind the wood panelling that we may get it running down for a few days yet. After chopping up some wood and doing some sticking for kindling, we did some polishing. We pumped up the water pressure on the central heating system and put some rubbing strips on the bow of Derwent6. We updated the pc's while on 3G, Oh and did some brasses, a busy day really. It was a lovely quiet evening and we had dinner out in the cratch with a beer or two.. Nice!

John came home in agony on Friday. We had our daughter and future son in law visiting for the weekend. It was a thin tooth which had come through at the side of his back tooth.. He went for a bath , came down and he had done a DIY dentist job, with the small scissors. That saved me 60 quid, he said!! Think I would rather see the dentist..x
