Spring is in the air

We were up early and made our way to the top of the Watford flight... We were the fourth boat to go down and as it was two up and two down we waited for a hour before we descended. On cruising at the bottom we saw our first ducklings of the year... the little fellows were a bit scared of this big boat coming towards them. We're sure they will get used to it.... We then moored at Norton junction and waited for our eating partners Hilary & Andy on n.b. Maisibert. We had our Sunday roast in the New Inn and had a good catch up. It was lovely to see them again.. We got back to Derwent6 just in time to watch Spurs lose to Pompey.. Oh Dear!

It got a bit chilly in the evening and we had to light the fire for a evening of entertainment on the telly... we closed all the hatches cause you never know who might be looking in!!! and we did have Roast Beef..
