In the evening we were meeting up with Del's side of the family, together with friends, as Cliff (Del's brother) & Louise were having a firework party for all the kids. It was lovely to see everyone and we had a great time. We left there at 2.00am, yes 2.00am, and drove back to Derwent6 using Alf's car. Good job we made the bed before we went out....

Cliff and Lou's Fireworks
We left Derwent6 at 9.30am and made our way to the train station at Enfield Lock. We got on the train with the plan to go to Tottenham Hale but after leaving the train found out the Victoria Line was closed. So we had to get back on and go to Liverpool Street. There we found out the Circle and District Lines were also closed so we had no way to get to Victoria. We had to get the Central Line to Green park and walk the rest and as you can imagine it was packed with everyone doing the same thing. . It was a lovely day and a nice walk to Buckingham Palace, which was packed for the changing of the guard. We still managed to get the train we were getting at Victoria down into Kent. We then saw Al's Mum & Dad (Pam & Alf) before we went to Sevenoaks to put the camera in for a three week repair.
