Got up at some silly time today to watch the qualifying for the Grand Prix and watched the cars racing round the track. This made us decide to stay put today. The wind was howling against the side of Derwent6 and rocking us about a bit so we were pleased not to be going anywhere.
In the morning we spent a bit of time writing our own track. With Al's lyric writing and Del now playing the guitar, we have come up with a new song, but more about that when we have perfected it. In the afternoon we went for a walk to suss out the railway station and local villages. You just need to go for a short walk along the lane to Horton and then take a small track under the railway which brings you out at Cheddington Station which has a direct route into London. We then did a circular walk via the village of Ivinghoe, and back along the towpath, just to stretch our legs. When we got back Al made some cakes.
